SXSW Day 3

I decided to make a day of the Hype Hotel, their band lineup was so amazing this day, it was almost insane to leave. first on deck was one of the acts I wanted to see the most Goldroom. It is very rare that an electronic band sounds good live, but Goldroom sounded amazing , the only other band I've seen sounding this good was Neon Indian, and I'm honestly bias on this.

The band after Goldroom was Chicago Band Kids These Days, which surprised the heck out of me with their sound, specially because I dislike Rap 80% of the time, but this was so much fun to watch and dance to, I became a convert.

I was really looking forward to watching Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, specially because this was going to be one in a million chances to check him out live, you must however understand my disappointment when they took his mic away and he started DJing, don't get me wrong he is a brilliant DJ, it just not what you would expect in a concert.

I decided to make a change of venue to listen to the well publicized band Rhye. Money Penny had been playing them all week, so I wanted to see if they where just as good live. After watching the tail end of Gold Fields with proper equipment, Rhye came on stage and though vocalist Michael Milosh looked frail from having the flu, they where still able to put out a great show.
